Method
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F
- Pat dry the wings with a few paper towels, as this step is crucial for achieving a crispy coating.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with salt, flour, and Trader Joe's BBQ Rub and Seasoning with Coffee & Garlic.
- Take a large sheet pan, cover it with parchment paper. Add 1 tbsp of melted butter and spread it around the pan.
- Place wings spread out evenly skin side down and bake for 15 minutes. Then turn them skin side up and bake for 20 minutes or until crispy and reached 165 degrees F internal temperature.

- Once done, remove wings from the oven and serve with creamy gorgonzola dipping sauce.
Notes
If you prefer, substitute the sheet pan with a wire rack instead.
To make your own dry rub mix for every 1 lb of chicken wings: salt & black pepper to taste, 1/4-1/2 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp smoked paprika.
To substitute flour, use 1 tsp of non-aluminum baking powder for every 1 lbs of chicken wings. Make sure you are not using baking soda.
For crispier wings, leave in the oven a few extra minutes.
As cooking times may vary depending on the size of wings, it's crucial to monitor them closely once you've reached the 20-minute mark from Step 5 above.
